All day long, however, the Kentucky Derby Odds have fluctuated as folks try to make sense of who might be the best "mudder." Churchill Downs cancelled morning workouts to try to keep the track in good shape, but it will be muddy, and that has destroyed the pre-race odds.
Also, the only real standout horse, Eskendereya, was scratched earlier. Prior to that, his trainer, Todd Pletcher, looked to have a great chance to win his first Kentucky Derby after 24 failed attempts. His scratch threw the race to anyone.
Then, the two psot Eskendereya favorites, Looking at Lucky, drew the poor #1 post position. Another favorite horse, Sidney's Candy, drew 20, making matters worse.
The Kentucky Derby odds for the favorite, still Looking at Lucky, are awfully long odds for the betting favorite. They are at 8-1, really high odds. Also at 8-1 is the Pletcher horsd Super Saver. Right now it looks like the filly and another Pletcher horse Devil May Care at 10-1 is second.
Remember, the answer to "when is post time" or "what time is the kentucky derby 2010" is 6:24 PM EDT. Tune in to watch a sloppy, but surely, with the Kentucky Derby odds all over the place, Run for the Roses.
