Ironically, the sale comes on a sad day for HP. The company was, on Tuesday, delisted from the Dow Jones Industrial Average. With that, HP is no longer a member of one of the world’s most important benchmark stock indexes.

It was the biggest shake-up in a decade for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, or DJIA, as Alcoa and Bank of America were also dropped in order to make way for Nike, Visa and Goldman Sachs.
