Rumors swirl around Khloe Kardashian and possible fertility treatments

Baby Feet

While some news outlets have boldly proclaimed the details of Khloe Kardashian’s alleged fertility treatments, the star herself has denied any artificial interventions --- for now.

According to msnbc.com and RadarOnline.com, Kardashian is more than ready to become a mom after two years of married bliss to Lamar Odom, and she has taken her resolve to fertility specialists after trying unsuccessfully to become pregnant for two years. At 27, Kardashian would seem to be in the prime of her fertility years, and two years is indeed a bit long for a woman her age.

A source close to the Kardashian clan has allegedly confirmed that the reality TV star is seeking fertility treatments in her new home town of Dallas, TX, according to E! News. Khloe is "trying very hard" to get pregnant with the help of fertility treatments, though there's no word on what treatments that might be.

It was back in the fall of 2010, shortly after their one-year wedding anniversary that the couple announced that they were working on adding to their family.

"We're on it right now," Lamar had said. "And I'm having fun trying."

Kardashian’s followers on Twitter have been rooting for her, inadvertently, perhaps, adding to the pressure the young wife doubtless feels. A fan even tweeted for her to "please have beautiful babies soon!!" Kardashian replied "I'm waiting on the big man upstairs to bless us with that blessing ;)"

In the meantime, Khloe is surrounded by children to practice her mothering skills on: Lamar’s three children from previous relationships, and sister’s Kourtney’s young son Mason. Kourtney has recently announced that she is expecting her second baby.

None of this means, necessarily, that Kardashian is on the fertility fast track. Yesterday, the star took time out to tweet a stalwart denial of any fertility treatment rumors.

"Because there seems to be much speculation, here is my statement," wrote Kardashian. "I am not at this time in my life considering any type of fertility treatments. If and when I do, I will shout it from the rooftops but for now its in Gods hands."

She has expressed a bit of dismay at the amount of investment in her pregnancy status. "For two years, people have been wanting me to get pregnant," Kardashian said. "People keep saying, 'Why aren't you pregnant yet?' That's what scares me, when people are like, 'Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything is working?' It's nerve-wracking. Sometimes I feel like I'm letting everyone down."
