
Jump into the world of Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Elmo, Cookie Monster and all your favorite lovable characters from the popular children's television show at Minnesota Children's Museum. Visitors can experience the Sesame Street set from the famous brownstone steps of 123 Sesame Street.
Children and adults can get an up-close look at Big Bird, play chess and checkers in the park, and visit the Counting Tree and count animals.
Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street? was produced by Strong Museum, Rochester, New York,
in collaboration with Sesame Workshop and the Jim Henson Company, and is underwritten by Frontier, a Citizens Communications Company.
Curious George: Let's Get Curious!, November 11, 2007
The new Curious George exhibit will inspire young children's natural curiosity as they explore early science, math and engineering through hands-on interactive play. The immersive exhibit environment takes place in the neighborhood where Curious George lives with his friend, The Man with the Yellow Hat.
Visitors will recognize familiar characters and places featured in the classic stories and the PBS KIDS television series.

A month of Fridays devoted to Curious George's best friend's favorite accessory: his Yellow Hat. Visitors can make their own paper hats, join in a yellow hat parade and settle in for stories about Curious George and The Man in the Yellow Hat during Story Time.

Join us every Saturday in September and October for drop-in, interactive live animal programs with special guest presenters. Be inquisitive like Curious George and learn all about these fascinating creatures and the natural world they live in.

Come explore Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street? during a members-only time to visit the new exhibit and the Museum. Indulge in some tasty treats, then test your silliness playing with "goats in oats" and more goofy rhymes. This event is free for members; members' guests are welcome at $5.95 each.
