But according to the New Straits Times newspaper, she will have to tone down her midriff-flaunting tops and thigh-skimming skirts.
The newspaper quotes concert organiser Razlan Ahmad Razali, who says that the singer will show less flesh than usual.
"As of now, her concert is still on," he said.
Stefani performed in Kuala Lumpur on August 21 despite protests from a group of Islamic students, which objected to her raunchy performances and outfits.
The platinum blonde pop star made true to her promise to be a "good girl" and covered her tight-fitting tops in jackets.
She also sported leggings under her dresses and mini-skirts.
"I am practically Malaysian," Stefani told 10,000 screaming fans.
Malaysian authorities last year fined a music promoter 10,000 ringgit ($3,471) for organising a Pussycat Dolls concert considered too raunchy.
Michael Jackson and Linkin Park concerts have also upset the National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students, who fear that such concerts may erode Muslim values and corrupt the country's youth. © 2007 Australian Broadcasting Corporation
