2000 students from over 30 high schools and colleges take to the Canberra Theatre Main Stage to perform an array of dance pieces responding to the theme Reflection in 46 unique dance performances from September 26 to 28.
Reflection: an insight into what Canberra's youth are thinking about their social environment, future and culture. Students express through dance ideas on conforming to peer and media pressures, childhood and rivalry, good and evil, and war.
In it's twenty-third year, Ausdance ACT's Dance Fest is a unique experience where students participate in all aspects of the production, from hosting the performance evenings, designing sets and costumes to crewing backstage.
