In addition, the heating system in the toner fixing section has been improved to allow these models to operate on standard 100-V power outlets rated at 15 amps. This eliminates the need for new electrical work to install a source of 200-V power, or 100-V power rated at 20 amps, which is typically required for high-speed digital full-color MFPs rated at 50 color ppm or higher, and facilitates new installations of these models or as replacements for existing equipment.
Also, Sharp’s popular Mycrostoner has been improved for use in these models, and Sharp’s proprietary Enhanced Sharp Auto Color Mode automatically distinguishes from among documents of different types and sizes to select the optimum paper size and deliver high-resolution, high-quality printed output.
