Autism Song 'Open Every Door' re-released for Autism Sunday 2009

Media Eye Music in London have re-released the song for autism 'Open Every Door' sung by the Asian superstar Gresha Schuilling and written by singer/songwriter Nimal Mendis for Autism Sunday - the International Day of Prayer for Autism and Asperger's Syndrome on Sunday 8th February 2009.

'Open Every Door,' is the moving song about a child with autism. It is the cry of every parent and carer. Radio stations around the world are poised to play the song for autism, written by Nimal Mendis who is a member of the Performing Rights Society in the United Kingdom.

Churches around the world are using 'Open Every Door' as a point of reflection in services to mark the international day for autism. Religious Organisations are to pray for over 60 million people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome across many nations. Autism Campaigners have urged people to use Autism Sunday as a platform to lobby and campaign on some of the serious issues facing the worldwide Autism Community. Autism Awareness Ribbons have gone on sale on ebay for Autism Sunday - people have been urged wear their ribbons to raise awareness.

Nimal Mendis is an award winning singer songwriter from South Asia. He has written several songs for the Decca label in the United Kingdom. He appeared on BBC TV'S 'Top of the Pop's' programme in 1968 with singer Sandra Edema singing his hit 'Feel Like A Clown.'

'Open Every Door' has been released on YouTube and God Tube and is available for download on iTunes with part proceeds to an autism charity.
