Canberra Theatre Centre presents Canberra Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, 25 November 2007, at 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM.
A perfect introduction to the orchestra! Conducted by Ian MacLean, Symphony for Kids is a delightful fixture on the calendar of all Canberra kids! Featuring the talents of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Symphony for Kids introduces children to the joys of live classical music.
A charming repertoire, designed just for little ears, is played by the orchestra and audience members are then introduced to the sounds and instruments of the orchestra. After the show, all kids are encouraged to interact with and ask questions of the musicians. Previous seasons have sold so book your seats early to avoid disappointment.
'It's a lovely atmosphere, sometimes the children are so mesmerised because they've never seen an instrument make music before' Ian MacLean, Canberra Times. -- www.canberratheatre.org.au
