The Physics of Toys: Lights, Camera, Science!

While Hollywood readies for the Academy Awards, the Exploratorium's Physics of Toys team will zoom in on movie cameras and pictures made from light.

On Saturday, February 17, 2007, from 11am to 3pm, we'll make pinhole cameras, zoetropes, and other image gadgets. All materials are provided. Take home what you make. Physics of Toys, which takes place the third Saturday of every month, is free with museum admission.

The Exploratorium's Physics of Toys interactive laboratory explores toys in a one-on-one workshop in which children and adults alike investigate the science of everyday things.
