Fans of the long running series will be able to play through two full levels of Resident Evil 5 as well as experience co-operative play online or split screen to further enhance the demo experience. The demo consists of two levels from the beginning of the game, Assembly Place and Shanty Town, where gamers will be able to explore and use new characters, weapons and environments.
Assembly Place will allow gamers to witness the different types of enemies that will confront them throughout the game while Shanty Town will allow them to witness one of the games primary villains. The demo of Resident Evil 5 has all of the tell-tale goriness that fans have come to know and love and is a classic addition to the zombie horror gaming genre that this series made famous.
According to Kezins.com; the controls, which plagued earlier installments of the Resident Evil series, remain a bit sloppy but the problems are not insurmountable. Other than that reviewers are fairly unanimous in saying that the game could possibly be one of the best of the year and that the co-op and online play work like a charm.
For those Playstation 3 fans that are feeling left out, rumor has it the PS3 version of the Resident Evil demo will be released sometime next week.
