Celebrate the arts and creative expression at the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake, New York on Saturday, September 29, 2007. The museum has planned a special day full of music, art, and photography – a "Leaf Peeper" event timed to coincide with the vibrant fall foliage.

A highlight of the day will be a special multimedia presentation – Wild Visions. Wild Visions is an audio-visual program about our relationship with the wilderness and our spiritual connection with the earth. Photographer Carl Heilman will take viewers on a wilderness tour through some of the most special places in the Adirondack Park. Spectacular nature photography of the Adirondack High Peaks, foothills, and waterways will begin and end with poetic narrative and exceptional Adirondack folk music by Dan Berggren, Dan Duggan, and Peggy Lynn ( a.k.a. Jamcrackers).

The program will be held in the museum's Auditorium at 2:00 p.m. and is included in the price of general museum admission.

A "Meet the Musicians Brown Bag Lunch" will precede the concert from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. in the Mark W. Potter Education Center. Visitors are welcome to bring a lunch and join Dan Berggren, Dan Duggan, and Peggy Lynn to talk about music making and the Adirondacks. Discover how the history and beauty of the Adirondack region has inspired these performing artists; ask questions and learn about their music, playing, and songwriting.

Carl Heilman will hold a book signing in the museum's Visitor Center at 3:30 p.m. Heilman is an award winning outdoor photographer who specializes in nature panoramas, murals, and nature photography of Lake George, Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks, New York State, and Montana panoramas and photos. He also creates nature photos of National Parks and other wild areas in the US and Canada. -- www.adkmuseum.org
