Auto Shows for Dreamers

What is great about going to Auto Shows is just that. It's just a show. There is no pressure to buy. If you have been researching a new vehicle to buy such as the Toyota Prius, Ford Flex or one of the many other choices out there, then going to an auto show is a great way to do your research and have fun at the same time.

Last year we attended the Sacramento International Auto Show and got to see the latest line up of all our favorite auto makers.

The surprise of the day at the auto show was the Hyundai line. They have come a long way. We were pleasantly surprised to see the progress in their design and craftsmanship. We did not get to drive any of their test vehicles, but we were tempted. We did, however, got to sit in their vehicles and push all the buttons, adjust the mirrors, move the seats and basically dream about what it would be like to have one of their new vehicles.

Kicking the tires and seeing what each manufacturer has to offer was the best thing about the auto show. You could do your research by talking to representatives about vehicles and features you are interested in. You could get a glimpse of future models yet to make it to production or you could just be a quite attendee and just enjoy the show for what it is - an auto show.

Buying a new car is not an option for us, but seeing what is out there without obligation to buy is. For people who in our situation, just being an auto show is a dream.

We are glad that there are still auto shows out there to get people excited about new cars. We anxiously look forward to the 2010 Sacramento Auto Show coming up this year, November 12-15, 2009!
