Natasha Richardson Has Died

It has been reported in the last hour by several news outlets that Natasha Richardson has died.

Richardson was seriously injured during a beginner's ski lesson yesterday.

The fall was normal, she seemed to hit nothing, and seemed perfectly fine. But about an hour later Richardson complained of headaches, and shortly thereafter she was rushed to the hospital unconscious.

Her decline was rapid, her family - Liam Neeson and their two sons - was with her at the end. Understandably, the are deeply grieved and have asked for privacy.

This is a very sad turn of events, shocking and frightening it reminds us how fragile and precious life is.

A very sad story.
