Carrie Prejean told to pose for Playboy: She claims

Ever since she gave her controversial - and poorly worded/ badly articulated - answer to "the question," Carrie Prejean has simply not gone away. I had hoped that with the removal of her crown today, Ms. Prejean would stop taking up our time. Alas ... I was wrong. Ms. Prejean has begun to fire back and retaliate against those who took her crown.

The gossip page referring to Carrie Prejean and Playboy talk on TMZ is reporting that We just got off the phone with deposed Miss California USA Carrie Prejean -- and she says the pageant was trying to whore her out to Playboy.

Prejean claims pageant honcho Keith Lewis actually asked her last month if she would take two gigs -- appearing on "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" and Playboy. Prejean says Lewis told her Playboy offered $140,000 for her to pose semi-nude. She rejected both offers.

Naturally, Pageant officials tell a different tale. But it's unimportant. Ms. Prejean is a publicity hound, who appears willing to stoop to any level to get herself heard and seen. I would not be surprised if we see her very soon in an issue of playboy.

My hope, however, is that - in the very near future - we cease to hear about Carrie Prejean. I suspect however that she will remain with us for some time.
