Families without homes forced to live in a city of tents

The situation now is very much like that of the Joads in The Grapes of Wrath.

We can no longer sit on our hands and let this happen.

To the Democrats I say: increase the size of the stimulus. Listen to Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman!

To the Republicans I say: Can you still seriously believe tax cuts and less regulation are the solution? Do you still really believe in Reagan's mantra that "government is not the solution; government is the problem"? Can a rational person hold such a view in light of our current state?!

This economic crisis is grim and bleak!
