Ballet British Columbia is set to tour this fall taking ballet 'on the road' to eight communities in BC, Alberta, and the Yukon.
The program includes the best from the 20th century ballet repertoire; classic works that are rarely seen outside of large urban centers. Touring productions include Rodeo, choreography by Agnes de Mille, music by Aaron Copland; Allegro Brillante, choreography by George Balanchine, music by Tchaikovsky (Piano Concerto No. 3, Op. 75); and Elemental Brubeck, choreography by Lar Lubovitch, music by Dave Brubeck.
This is a popular program of exciting contemporary ballet that will be performed by exceptional, professional classically trained ballet dancers.
