The 2007-2008 Season is due to start soon, and what a season it will be! It sees some of the last performances for conductor Marin Alsop: at the end of 2007-2008 she is moving onto new pastures to continue her post as Music Director at Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
The season will also be filled with mind blowing performances from both guest conductors and soloists alike, highlighting our on–going diversity and flair. December sees the return of Andrew Litton, currently artistic director of the Bergen Philharmonic, who used to be our Associate Conductor for a number of years.
In addition, we are welcoming the return of Les Miserables, which is to be performed at the Bournemouth International Centre on 16th February 2008; tickets are available from the box office, but be quick this is sure to be a sell-out event!
We are sure that all the concerts being performed this season will keep you inspired and entertained, and make you understand why we are considered one of the finest orchestras in Britain today. -- www.bsolive.com
