Hyatt Place Installs NCR Self-Check-In Kiosks

Global Hyatt Corporation's newest brand, Hyatt Placeâ„¢, deploys NCR EasyPointâ„¢ Xpress Check-In kiosks

NCR Corporation today announced that Global Hyatt Corporation has deployed NCR EasyPoint Xpress Check-In kiosks throughout its recently launched Hyatt Place chain.

Hyatt Place, a new kind of Hyatt for today's relaxed lifestyle, features a focus on contemporary design and forward-thinking technology. As part of this focus on innovation, four pilot sites have deployed NCR Xpress Check-In kiosks this year. Plans call for the installation of 200 kiosks in over 100 Hyatt Place hotels across the U.S. beginning this month.

"Hyatt Place was designed to appeal to today's self-sufficient, technologically savvy travelers who are accustomed to a mobile lifestyle. We understand that our guests lead busy lives and time is a precious commodity, so we provide our guests the option of checking in or out in less than one minute using NCR EasyPoint Xpress kiosks," said Richard Morgan, senior vice president, Hyatt Place.

NCR Xpress Check-In kiosks are designed to offer intuitive, contemporary and efficient service by providing faster check-in/out and shorter lines. The solution confirms reservations; encodes, validates and dispenses room keys; and prints guests' folios in most cases in under a minute.
