Oklahoma State recorded its second consecutive shutout and got goals from Sasa Jackson and Kasey Langdon as the 13th-ranked Cowgirls defeated SMU, 2-0, Sunday at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.

OSU, which improved to 6-1-1, got on the scoreboard in the eighth minute when Jackson scored from 18-yards out off an assist from Annika Niemeier. The goal was Jackson’s team-leading fifth of the season.

The Cowgirls added their final goal of the match in the 21st minute of the first half as Katie Richardson sent a perfect cross into the box, and Langdon found the back of the net for her third goal of the season. Richardson’s assist was her fourth of the season, which is tied for the team high.

Erin Stigler recorded her second-straight shutout in goal for the Cowgirls, bringing her career total to 10. The junior ranks third on OSU’s all-time shutouts list, just four shy of tying Kat Doud’s school-record 14.

With the win, OSU also improved its home unbeaten streak to 15 consecutive games. SMU fell to 3-2-1 with the loss.
