The continuous rains has not daunted the cricket fans to reach and waited for their cricket heroes in the periphery of CSI airport at Mumbai.
Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, Deputy Chief Minister RR Patil, officials of Board of Cricket control in India which includes president Sharad Pawar, vice presidents Lalit Modi and Rajeev Shukla, secretary Niranjan Shah and chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar were present at the airport to receive the players.
Cinestar,Sachin,Rahul and Sourav are also invited with Team India of 1983 World cup winners.Security is beefed up and Mahinder singh Dhoni was to come out first with Sunil dev and then Yuv Raj and S. Sreesanth broke into an impromptu 'bhangra' along with the turbanator Harbhajan Singh and soon all players boarded the open Bus which will carry the players to 30 Km route from airport to Wankhede Stadium a venue of Publicly felicitation at 10.30 by the BCCI State Government and Bollywood stars.
As the Players arrive the Holy women were their to welcome and paste holy color on their forehead sacred verse sung by the reception team.
Players while boarding the bus were seen dancing and enacting bhangra to exhibit the ecstasy mood and enjoyment of win on their face and their fans in midst of rains which still persist as if though the nature sends their blessing to the winning team.
