The Paley Center for Media (formerly The Museum of Television & Radio) nnounced the opening of a new gallery exhibit: The Next 20 – a unique media-focused exhibit designed by celebrated advertising agency Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, Inc. in honor of their 20th anniversary.
The gallery exhibit opens on the first day of Advertising Week 2007, the annual industry celebration. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Paley Center has joined forces with Advertising Week to host a multimedia exhibit exploring the world of advertising. Previous exhibits were mounted by advertising giants Leo Burnett Worldwide and JWT, and Microsoft.
The Next 20, installed in the Paley Center's Spielberg Gallery, asks the question: "How do you expect brands to communicate with you in the next 20 years?" The question is framed in an introductory video presented by the agency's founders, Richard Kirshenbaum and Jon Bond, and answered by a range of different voices.
In the lead-up to the exhibit KBP invited industry visionaries and the general public to send in their text and video responses to this question. The responses selected—displayed graphically and on video via plasma televisions—come from all over the world, and form the majority of the exhibition's content.
The exhibition will run through December 2, 2007. -- mtr.inet7.com
