The Berkshire Museum in downtown Pittsfield will celebrate the 10th "birthday" of Wally, the stegosaurus on the front lawn, with a free family day on Monday, October 8. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. the festivities will include roaming magician and balloon artist Mr. Twisty, face painting, and hands-on art-making.
In an annual tradition children are encouraged to bring Wally a homemade birthday card. At 2 p.m. guests will gather to sing "Happy Birthday," followed by cake. Admission to all activities is free, as is Berkshire Museum admission all day October 8.
At craft stations inside, children may make their own "Wally wear"--a headdress inspired by the dinosaur.
The Amazing Mr. Twisty (a.k.a. Chad Currin) has appeared on Nickelodeon, the Games and Sports Network, and the Discovery Channel. He has performed at hundreds of fairs and festivals and thousands of events across the country. He has been performing his blend of comedy and magic as Mr. Twisty and as other characters for more that 25 years.

Joe, Mr. Potato Head, Nerf, Radio Flyer, Lionel Trains, Lego, Slinky, Silly Putty, and more.
