Orville Union High School district in CA has released the following statement about the Las Plumas High School hostage drama.
The gunman is in custody at Las Plumas High School. There were no injuries by anyone involved.
Las Plumas High School is being evacuated to the Church of the Nazarene 2238 Monte Vista Ave. parents can pick up students there.
We are allowing a non emergency student release for all other district schools. All other schools are no longer in lockdown. Students may be picked up by their parents or guardians.
The Butte County Sheriff's Office will release information at a later time.
