Due to popular demand, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra has added a second date for Play! A Video Game Symphony. The second concert will take place at 8 p.m. Sunday, January 20 at Bass Performance Hall. Tickets are still available for the original concert date, on Saturday, January 19 also at Bass Performance Hall, but they are going fast.
Brought to vibrant life by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and an accompanying choir, the PLAY! concert features award-winning orchestral music from popular video game titles including Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, The Legend Of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., World Of Warcraft, Sonic The Hedgehog and Shenmue.
Awesome graphics on large screens above the Orchestra will accompany the scores to highlight memorable moments from the games. The concert is produced by the same team that brought the sold out performance of Dear Friends: The Music of Final Fantasy to Fort Worth a few years ago.
Tickets to the PLAY! concert range from $35 - $65. -- www.fwsymphony.org
