Iran reached a deal with the IAEA in August to resolve the U.N. agency's remaining questions about past Iranian nuclear activities by December. The agreement does not require Iran to suspend the current expansion of its uranium enrichment facilities.
Following the deal, major world powers decided not to impose further sanctions on Iran until at least November to see if the agreement with the IAEA produces results.
