The BlackBerry solution brings together smartphones, software and service to allow easy access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and corporate data applications on the go.

The launch of the BlackBerry solution from MTN delivers on the re-branded network’s promise to continue introducing new and innovative services for its customers. It follows on from a host of strong MTN promotions for Pay Monthly and Pay As You Go customers.
At launch, MTN will offer the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8300 smartphone and the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8100 smartphone.
The BlackBerry Curve 8300:
With its stylish design, large display, easy-to-use full QWERTY keyboard and intuitive trackball navigation system, the BlackBerry Curve 8300 smartphone looks as great as it performs. It offers a range of advanced multimedia features together with all the proven and popular BlackBerry smartphone features that have won praise around the world. It comes with a 2 megapixel camera, complete with 5x digital zoom, built-in flash, self-portrait mirror and full screen viewfinder. Photos can be shared easily and instantly by email, MMS or BlackBerry® Messenger and can also be transferred over Bluetooth® or USB cable.
The BlackBerry Curve 8300 smartphone also comes with the Roxio® Media Manager for BlackBerry® as part of the BlackBerry® Desktop Software, which allows users to easily search for media files on their computer, view and organize them, create MP3 music files from CDs, add audio tags and album art, create play lists and automatically copy or convert pictures, music and videos for optimal playback on the BlackBerry Curve.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8100:
The BlackBerry Pearl 8100 packs all the power that users expect in a BlackBerry smartphone within an amazingly small handset design that has become widely popular with both business users and consumers. Beneath its sleek and stylish exterior, this award winning smartphone supports powerful communications and rich multimedia capabilities.
MTN will also be offering two different BlackBerry services.
BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, targeted specifically at the enterprise market, is available from MTN’s corporate sales division for organisations with their own email server. BlackBerry Enterprise Server supports IBM® Lotus® Domino®, Microsoft® Exchange and Novell® GroupWise® environments and uses advanced encryption and security features to enable data security for enterprise customers.
For smaller businesses and individuals, BlackBerry® Internet Service will be available from all MTN shops. This service allows customers to access up to 10 supported POP3 or IMAP4 accounts, including most popular ISP accounts such as Gmail and Yahoo! Mail..
Customers can use BlackBerry services anywhere in Cyprus as well as over 50 countries worldwide with which MTN has data roaming agreements**.
