The programmable electronic pattern sewer is used for sewing geometric patterns, for example, hip pockets on jeans, sport shoes and bags. Brother has already released two models of direct drive programmable electronic pattern sewers featuring high productivity and energy saving: the BAS-311G with a sewing area of 130 x 100 mm and the BAS-326G with a sewing area of 220 x 100 mm. We will then release the BAS-342G with a sewing area of 300 x 200 mm this month. Wider sewing area of the BAS-342G enables a broad range of sewing, such as sport shoes and bags, and vehicle airbags. We aim at expanding our market share by adding this new product to our conventional direct drive programmable electronic pattern sewers.

Enhanced productivity
The BAS-342G has achieved 2,700 rpm for sewing at a stitch length of 3.5 mm, which is the world’s highest sewing speed. The direct drive mechanism minimizes power transmission loss for Brother’s original drive motor. This reduces the time required to reach maximum sewing speed. As a result, machine time*2 has also become the world’s fastest, greatly improving productivity. *2) Operating time until one sewing cycle is completed
Industry’s most energy efficient
Electrical power consumption has been reduced by approximately 15% compared with previous models, achieving the lowest power consumption among models with the same sewing area in the industry. As power shortage is currently a serious social problem in China, the major market of industrial sewing machines, we are sure that this new product will respond to the potential requirement for stable production with low power consumption.
High sewing quality
The feed mechanism uses feedback control where precise sewing position information is sent to the control box during sewing. This maintains an extremely accurate stitch point even during high-speed sewing, ensuring beautiful pattern stitching, faithful to sewing data.-Btother
