Noche Flamenca's Napa Valley Opera House performance features a new work created by Santangelo entitled La Mujer del Aqua, which will be premiered at the start of their U.S. tour in Connecticut later this month. Based on Ibsen'sThe Lady from the Sea and inspired by Ibsen's character Ellida Wangel, Santangelo crafts a narrative-driven, theatrical representation depicting Ellida's internal struggle for inner truth, personal freedom and ultimately, a chosen love.
