USB Devise Let's You Program Your Doorbell

Tired of the standard “ding dong” doorbell chime? Well the guys and gals at Think Geek have you covered.

The new USB doorbell aims to make you the the envy of, or at least get some laughs, with drop in visitors. The devise allows you to replace your current chime with sound effects, songs, pretty much any audio file you can dig up. Freak out the pizza guy with a Friday The 13th clip, impress your friends with the new top 40 single, it's up to your imagination.

As you probably guessed the devise hooks up to your USB port where you can store WAV or MP3 files -- so long as there under 30 seconds. All you have to do from there is connect it to your doorbell. The battery powered devise has three different volume settings and comes complete with a mounting loop and installation software.

It's quite good but I've bought much better one at kakadu-usa.com.

  • My USB doorbell has 50 pre-loaded sounds and it is 30% cheaper!
  • The sounds are pretty cool and all of them are available on the web site so you can listen to them online. You can't imagine how much fun I'm having!
  • In my humble opinion my doorbell looks much better and it is available in three colors: white, beige and ivory.
