Consistently ranked as one of the state’s largest software companies, SeaChange has provided on-demand, advertising and content delivery services for the world’s biggest media companies for nearly 15 years.
The list recognized six business people (under the age of 30) from the Massachusetts area for their technology, business and civic accomplishments. According to Mass High Tech, many dozens of 20-somethings were considered (for ‘People to Watch Under 30’).
Bacon has been the driving force behind SeaChange’s latest channel navigation techonology, which is designed to solve the issue of searching through exhaustive video-on-demand (VOD) program guides as a result of recommending titles based on a television consumer’s viewing history. He worked directly with sales and product management to define requirements, architected the solution, built the product and is presently leading the anticipated unveiling in front of the world's largest cable and telco operators, many of which have staked their future in on-demand media consumption.

Bacon joined SeaChange after graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2004 with a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science. He started working at SeaChange on a product, Axiom Data Warehouse, that enables reporting capabilities for cable operators on VOD data, such as subscriber usage.
An Eagle Scout, Bacon volunteers as a Boy Scout leader for a troop in his former hometown of Weymouth. He resides in Shrewsbury with his wife. -SeaChange International
