“Next-generation broadband networks are placing an ever-increasing premium on gateway performance, and that performance will be measured not only in extreme data rates but in rich functionality to power dynamic triple-play services while maintaining quality of experience and always-on service levels for the consumer,” said Bill McDonald, Director of Product Marketing. The joint efforts of Jungo and Centillium promise a superior solution for the demands of next-generation applications.”

Mated to Centillium’s Palladia SoC product, the comprehensive functionality of Jungo’s OpenRG and OpenSMB gives gateway and integrated access device manufacturers a strong foundation for accelerating product development, and offers carriers a trusted platform for rapid, reliable and profitable deployment of new VoIP services over ADSL networks.
