The Grand Theatre, Blackpool is thrilled to announce Gorden Kaye, Ken Morley, Don McLean, Christopher Beeny, Peter Byrne, Brian Cant, Sue Hodge and Jan Hunt will star in the capture-vating new comedy There's No Place Like A Home from Tuesday 30th October to Saturday 3rd November.

Phew! It's a star-studded comedy spectacular!

Based on Paul Elliott's experiences as a celebrated international theatrical producer and the backstage tales he's heard, There's No Place Like A Home follows a host of erstwhile TV personalities as they embark on an hilarious and side-splitting escapade.

Have you ever wondered where our best–loved performers of the stage and screen go when they retire? The golf course? The beach? The fame drenched hills of Hollywood? A few maybe, but many head for places such as Stollberg Hall Retirement Home for Theatrical Performers. But alas, Stollberg Hall is under threat of closure. What will become of the grand old house and its grander residents?

They do what any self-respecting company of former household-name entertainers would do... devise a plan to kidnap a celebrity and demand a ransom! It's so theatrical and entertaining that they might just pull it off!

The ransom money will then be used to save their precious and much loved home. Doesn't sound such a bad idea, does it? But who could be their victim?

Jeffrey Archer – Perfect! What on earth could go wrong... There's No Place Like A Home is a wonderfully witty new comedy that will have you crying with laughter. -- www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk
