Developed over 20 years of experience training dance instructors, this condensed course will present a solid system for understanding everything you need to know to pass the DVIDA Professional American Style Associate Exam for Bronze Smooth and the Junior Associate Exam for Rhythm.
The one week residency experience guarantees full immersion, focus and achievement. It will cover the elements, theory, dancing, teaching methodology, and how to present them in an exam. This is a unique opportunity for teachers and aspiring professionals to build expertise, credentials, and distinguish themselves in the ballroom dance industry.
Includes:
- 35 hours of instruction
- Monday through Friday, 9 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 5 pm
- Lunch at the BDTC studio Monday-Friday.
- Shuttle from hotel to BDTC studio Monday-Friday.

Prerequisite:
DVIDA Certified in American Style Bronze Figures 1-7 in Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz and Tango. We will hit the ground running, for your most rewarding dance training experience ever!

- Everything you need to know to complete the DVIDA Professional American Style Associate Exam for Bronze Smooth and the Junior Associate Exam for Rhythm.
- Theory and Dancing for: Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango (Figures 8-15)
- Theory and Dancing for: The entire Viennese Waltz syllabus (Figures 1-10)
- Theory and Dancing for: Mambo (Figures 1-7)
- Dancing for: Mambo, Samba, West Coast Swing, Merengue, Bolero (Figures 1-7)
