
Saddam Hussein, The former Iraqi Dictator was executed tonight for killings of Iraqi town of Dujail 25 years ago, just reported CNN. The execution was carried out by hanging.
CNN report is based on Iraqi television stations reports, which reported early in the morning of Baghdad time that Saddam Hussein was executed by handing.
A TV station Al-Hurra, which is backed by USA reported that Saddam is dead. Presently the Al-Hurra website is not available for further details.
Saddam's lawyers earlier today lost the bid for the stay of execution. Last minute appeal in U.S. court was lost. So far there is no details of where the execution tool place, reports CNN.
Saddam was hiding from justice, but he was eventually captured by U.S. forces on December 13, 2003. This year, on November 5, he was convicted of crimes against humanity by the Iraq Special Tribunal and was sentenced to death by hanging.
On December 30, Saddam's appeal was rejected and the death sentence upheld. He was reported to have been hanged, in front of doctors, lawyers and officials, just before 06:00 local time according to Iraqi TV Al-Hurra.

Do you feel sorry for Saddam? Or do you feel justice? I personally don't know, but I feel justice is done. However, I believe in mersy and am against death penalty. I don't know, while I agree that Saddam Hussein was a dictator, I still have mix feelings.
Anyone has feelings about Saddam's execution?
