Trolltech also released a beta version Qtopia Phone Edition – Open Source, a complete package of the Qtopia Phone Edition source code under GNU General Public License, version 2.0 (GPL).

This feature release includes several new features, including support for multiple displays, enhancements in document management, multimedia, SIM Toolkit, themeing and styles.
