Marlin Global Makes NZSX Listing

NZX welcomes Marlin Global Limited to the New Zealand Stock Exchange Market today, the third investment company listed by Fisher Funds Management.

Marlin will invest in small global growth companies based outside New Zealand and Australia.

The Marlin offer has raised $103 million, which includes $33 million of oversubscriptions. There was one new warrant issued for every two shares issued.

NZX Markets Development Manager, Geoff Brown said, “It is wonderful to see Fisher Funds continue to raise capital and very successfully bring a broader range of listed products to market.”

Barramundi, listed in October last year, invests in Australian companies outside the Top 100 by market capitalisation. Fisher Funds’ first New Zealand Stock Exchange Market listing in 2004, Kingfish, invests in small New Zealand growth companies.

ABN AMRO Craigs is the Lead Manager and Organising Participant for the Marlin share offer.

Shares and warrants in Marlin Global were quoted on the New Zealand Stock Exchange Market under the security code MLN and MLNWA from 11am today. -- www.nzx.com
