In addition to performing selections from their new album, Here's to the Heroes, along with popular favorites like Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," ABBA's "Dancing Queen," and the theme from "Rawhide," this year's concert at the Victoria Theatre will feature the Tenors' unique take on some holiday favorites!

Striding through the classical tenor repertoire, swaying through the ballads of the Neapolitan crooners, and highlighting their youth with critically acclaimed performances of rock classics, The Ten Tenors and their unmistakable Australian charm have won countless fans.

To kick-off last year's Larger Than Life tour, The Tenor Tenors wowed Hollywood at the 57th Annual Emmy Awards Governor's Ball, then went on to draw packed houses, along with rave reviews, in every city where they performed, including Dayton.

Dayton City Paper, reviewing last year's show, said The Ten Tenors hit audiences with a "unique experience that takes music to new heights with genuine passion," adding that "the audience is left feeling moved, uplifted, and hungry for more."

This year, The Ten Tenors are back to celebrate the release of their latest album, Here's to the Heroes, which debuted in the United States at number nine on the Classical Crossover Chart. The Ten Tenors worked with film score icon John Barry and his celebrated lyricist partner Don Black to produce the album, which features a 90 piece orchestra, a percussion section and some of the world's leading musicians. Nicholas Dodd, the man behind the music of the last five James Bond movies, worked as conductor and arranger on the album, and recording was done in the main studio at Abbey Road, the studio made famous by The Beatles.

The Ten Tenors burst upon the concert scene in Germany in 2001 and since then their international career has flourished. They have now been seen by more than 77 million people on three continents, selling out shows with their unmistakable charm, camaraderie and vocal prowess in opera, pop, rock, and more. The ensemble formed in 1995, while the tenors were university students, studying for careers in opera. The Ten Tenors created and performed their first full-length show in 1998, while still full-time students, and were undertaking an intensive touring schedule in Australia before the completion of that academic year. The Ten Tenors have been a committed musical tour de force ever since.

Their album One Is Not Enough reached the Top 10 on the European pop charts, and they were invited by Disney to record the song "Jungle Rhythm" for the film Jungle Book 2. The Ten Tenors performance at the Victoria Theatre is supported by Leadership Sponsors Clear Channel Dayton and Dayton Daily News.
