"Michael expressed a desire to do it and we have always said we would be open to the possibility whenever he wished," Colajanni said, adding that for now it's only a one-time deal.
"There is no plan" for more tests, Colajanni said. "For us, it's useful to take advantage of his experience."
While Schumacher was a special adviser to Ferrari this season, he mostly stayed behind the scenes as his replacement, Kimi Raikkonen, won the title.
