Amkor Named 2006 Strategic Supplier by Agere Systems

Amkor Technology, Inc. today announced that is has received a Strategic Supplier Award for 2006 from Agere Systems, a global leader in semiconductors and software solutions for storage, mobility, and networking markets.

The award recognizes excellence in providing materials, equipment and services that help Agere realize efficiencies and improve execution across its operations. A total of fifteen companies received this award, which evaluated multiple criteria including cost, technology, responsiveness, quality and supply assurance.
