John Coleman Says Global Warming Is A Scam

Armen Hareyan's picture

Founder of the Weather Channel, Meteorologist John Coleman: Global Warming is the Greatest Scam in History.

"It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in [sic] allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the "research" to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus.

Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild "scientific" scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from Global Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda. Now their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens. Only one reporter at ABC has been allowed to counter the Global Warming frenzy with one 15 minutes documentary segment.

I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming."

In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious. On the other hand, if this scam is what generates the political and social will to free ourselves of Saudi oil with new technologies, then perhaps the whole scam will have been worth it. - Source: Adapted from Neocon Express

I agree with John Coleman's assessment of this global warming scam. I am begging someone, anyone, who has any sort of credentials, like Mr. Coleman, to come to the forefront and counter what is going on. These wacko environmentalists are able to convince people because they are the ones making all the noise. They are drawing attention and the hollywood folks, who are trading on their good looks and popularity, are grabbing onto the environmentalist's coattails and garnering attention through this bogus belief. I do believe the hollywood types are deceived and their intentions are good, but misinformed. I place the blame on the greedy scientists and the self-proclaimed environmentalists. Please, someone who has any notoriety and following, please get involved and take up the cause before these politically motivated morons do us a great deal of harm. Thank you.

cleanwater Environmental engineer The greenhouse gas effect is a hypotheses that has never been proven. There are many scientific papers that shows that the concept violates the Second Law of Thermodynamic. Two papers that demonstates this are "Falisification of the Atmospheric CO2 greenhouse effects within the Frame of Physics." by Gerlich and Tscheuschner And "Greenhouse Gas Hypothesis Violates Fundamentals of Physics. by Heinz Thieme. A web site by a 16year old young lady "Pounder the Maunder" shows a better understanding of why the greenhouse gas effect is a hoax and that Man made global warming does not happen.(90% of the Congress and the President pretender do not understand that they are being lied to by Al Gore and certain members of NASA). NASA has data that shows that the 95% CO2 atmophere of Venus does not affect the heat loss from Venus(no greenhouse gas effect). John Coleman is absolutly correct about man made global warming-A Hoax. Al Gore 's book has been band is UK as being 90% lies. Al and the UN are conmen trying to steal peoples' money by selling carbon credits that will do nothing to save the planet and will only enrich Al and other crocks.

This apparent neocon's ignorance is trumped only by his incredibly inaccurate weather channel forecasts and his spelling. You can tell he's an arch-conservative Republican from his grade-school level name-calling (""whacko environmentalists"). Most neocons love to do this, and find it hard not to. To summarily dismiss the mass of convincing and compelling scientific DATA on this subject is pure foolishness. This man belongs in the Falwell-Robertson-Ted Stevens club.

Your grade-school level name-calling ("neocon") ignorance is surpassed only by your closed-minded "liberal" hatred of anyone who doesn't fall in step with your illogic. Coleman is a meteorologist of long standing, since 1953. The Weather Channel was created by him, but it has not been under his control for over 18 years. TWCs renowned inaccuracy is the fault of your consencus-belching proto-meteorologists, which you hold in such high regard. Concencus is not science, it is the lack of science. Concencus is a vote, a popularity contest. Concencus is nothing more than politics. I applaude all who have the temerity to question concensus. A typo or 2 does not a "neocon" make, but a hateful, narrow minded diatribe lacking facts DOES a fool demonstrate. Tony

You said: "You can tell he's an arch-conservative Republican from his grade-school level name-calling" isn't that pretty much what you did in your post???? "neocon's ignorance; incredibly inaccurate; arch-conservative Republican"

Well, Mr. "Master of the English language" and "Knower of All Knowledge," - don't you think you literally contradict yourself in the same sentence? You call him an "an arch-conservative Republican" and an illiterate neocon, then try to pull the "name-caller" card? Not to mention, you did a very nice job providing some of this sound, solid, and wonderfully accurate scientific knowledge your kind consistently tosses around, almost as if saying "I know and you don't, ha!" You might also want to tell me a) where he spelled something wrong and b) how one makes spelling errors while speaking, since I believe he spoke this excerpt during a weather broadcast (I may be wrong). Things you might consider next time.

What a typical libidiot hypocrite! Anyone who does not subscribe to the wingnut propaganda about global warming is a "neocon", "ignorant", "grade school name caller", "arch conservative", etc. There is not one...NOT ONE...convincing argument so called "scientists" have put forward to prove global warming and any part man has to do with it. On the other hand, if you can show me one dated photo or sketch of a wooly mammoth lounging around on the sunny and hot Riviera, or a dinosaur romping through a snow drift, I MIGHT listen to your "whacko environmentalist" THEORY! Until then, you and those so-called scientists are full of something, and it's probably not made by Oscar Mayer.

Tom's comment is typical of someone who will not even look at the facts themselves, but will follow "his crowd" faithfully. Slinging mud and calling groups and people names is what they do best. Too bad. I would love to see a debate between Al Gore and John. I think one debate would show whose "whaco" and who isn't. But Al Gore has already dismissed all who disagree with him as 'flat earth' people. Well, it must be time to hop on board the Al Gore train - just so I'll be 'smart'....

It seems to me that Tom Werman is also indulging in name-calling since most Americans would consider "neocon" as a pejorative term. He also charges Coleman with summarily dismissing scientific DATA (sic) even though the widely respected Coleman states he has studied the matter thoroughly. While the excerpt from Coleman's statement published on this web site does not list them, he gave an extensive list of reputable references supporting his position with his original post on the KUSI-TV web site. I am not a professional scientist, but I studied ecology in college in the early seventies (when many of today's global warming alarmists were warning of an impending man-made ice age,) and I have maintained an active interest as a responsible environmentalist all these years. Anyone who does any significant research into the earth's climate in the past (paleoclimatolgy,) will find abundant evidence from the sciences of archeology, paleontology, paleobotany and geology to show our planet and humans have experienced many periods of rapid climate change, both drastic warming and cooling, long before the human population was large enough to have any possible impact. One major volcanic eruption, such as Krakatoa in the 1800's, can lower average temperatures around the world by considerably more than the amount most experts agree on for the increase of the past 100 years. My advice to Mr. Werman, and anyone who wants to be an independent thinker, is to look at both sides of the ongoing scientific discussion before blindly following "whackos" from either side.
