The agreement encompasses combustion system components for GE Frame series heavy-duty turbines, electronic control systems and software used on GE aeroderivative series turbines, mechanical controls, and accessories for heavy frame and aeroderivative turbines such as gas valves, liquid valves, actuators, and auxiliary valves. The agreement also includes a long-term technology partnership with GE to develop future products for commercial industrial turbine applications.
"This agreement secures Woodward's position on existing GE Energy programs while providing a foundation to develop further advanced products to improve turbine performance and reliability. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with GE across their flagship turbine platforms," said Chad Preiss, Woodward vice president and general manager of Industrial Controls.
