The paintings belonged to a rising painter from USA Cy Twombly, who's painting "Fedra" became the subject of the kissing an an Avignon Museum of Contemporary Art.

Sam's lawyers argued that when she saw the paintings she felt a strong desire to make love, feeling an act of love and she says should could not hold it but to kiss the paintings. Sam Rindi also said that great painters will understand her act.

However, the prosecutor of the city of Avignon called the it a "wild act" and "cannibalism" and asked to fine Sam 4500 Euros. But he admitted that the girl from Cambodia could not have fully understood what she was doing.

The owner of the painting Ivon Lamber asked for much higher price of 2 million Euros and another 33 thousand Euros for painting restauration. However, the court was more human and did not go that far. - eMaxHealth from Translated RIA Novosti
