Acer Ferrari 5000 sent from Microsoft Reviewed

One of the laptops sent to top bloggers from Microsoft, a Acer Ferrari 5000, has been reviewed.

Despite all the commotion regarding the laptops Microsoft has sent to top bloggers - a initial review has been conducted on the Acer Ferrari 5000 running Windows Vista.

The review by Brandon LeBlanc from MSTechToday (see Windows Vista Acer Ferrari - First Thoughts) outlines the system's specs and proceeds to talk about the initial experience after receiving the laptop.

The laptop have a Windows Experience Index (rating given by the Windows Vista OS) of 4.8 and includes a built in webcam.

For the most part - everything works well running Windows Vista on the Acer Ferrari 5000 minus some wireless networking issues that could either be driver related, or possibly a problem at the router level.
