Oprah Winfrey brings her famed "The Oprah Winfrey Show" to Macon, Ga. Tuesday, Nov. 20. Her annual Thanksgiving giveaway, known as "Oprah's Favorite Things", will air today.
While most people expected her to do the show in Chicago, like always, she decided to travel. The reason she picked Macon, Ga., a mid-size city 90 minutes south of Atlanta, was because Macon has provided Winfrey with her highest ratings since 1986.
45 percent of televisions that are on in Macon at 4 pm any given weekday are set to "Oprah", compared with just 15 percent in nearby Atlanta. - Source: Transworld News
