The National Stock Exchange Of India, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Dena Bank has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "As far as our Bank is concerned, the news item is not correct and we may add that there is no substance in news and our Bank has no knowledge/discussion with SBI/others about the said matter and we deny the contents of the news." -- www.nseindia.com
