W. K. Crichy Clarke, President and CEO of TTM Resources Inc. announces additional assay results from the Phase 2 drill program at its 100% owned Chu Molybdenum Project 65 Km Southwest of Vanderhoof, British Columbia, Canada.
HOLE CHU E004 was drilled at an azimuth 210 degrees and a dip angle of -55 degrees to test the western boundary of the EAST High Grade Zone and was located 70 meters west of previously announced drill hole CHU 07-15 (0.061% Mo over 213 meters). CHU E004 carried significant Mo mineralization over its entire length.
Significant intervals are 0.068% Mo over 214.3 meters from 448.9 meters to 663.2 meters, including 10.1 meters of 0.110% Mo from 448.9 to 459.0 meters, 45.72 meters of 0.101% Mo from 471.3 meters to 516.9 meters and 24.4 meters of 0.097% Mo from 541.3 meters to 565.7 meters. The hole was stopped in mineralization. The results have extended the West boundary of the EAST High Grade Zone by a further 70 meters. The zone remains open to depth and to the West.
HOLE CHU E003 was drilled at an azimuth of 205 degrees and a dip of -50 degrees to further test the eastern limits of the EAST High Grade Zone directly above drill hole CHU E002 (previously reported as 0.057% Mo over 318.1 meters) and reports 0.094% Mo over 36.57 meters from 56.69 meters to 93.26 meters and 0.102% Mo over 16.33 meters from 210.3 meters to 226.63 meters. This hole confirms the mineralization trend towards surface. This zone remains open to depth and to the East.
HOLE CHU W003 was drilled at an azimuth of 160 degrees and a dip angle of -53 degrees to test the eastern limits of the WEST High Grade Zone and to search for additional high grade zones between the WEST and the EAST. Over its 791 meter length the hole encountered a number of barren post-mineralized dikes each averaging about 10 meters in thickness which could likely be segregated as internal waste during mining. Excluding these dikes, the entire hole averaged 0.042% Mo and included intervals of 0.057% Mo over the first 159 meters including 0.113% Mo over 25.8 meters from 133.2 to 159.0 meters. This hole deviated strongly to the south from its targeted azimuth and may have exited the main northwest-southeast quartz-molybdenum stockwork zone prematurely.
Analyses of samples from the current program are completed at Eco-Tech Laboratories in Kamloops, BC. Quoted intercepts are based on analytical analyses for molybdenum. Full assays for molybdenum were run on any molybdenum analyses that exceeded 500ppm. The Company has in place a comprehensive quality assurance/quality control program including standards, blanks and duplicate samples that form part of the sampling protocol. -- www.cnxmarketlink.com
