Minnesota Orchestra Announce Holiday Season

Magic Circle Mime Company returns for A Spirit for the Holidays family concerts; Orchestra and Minnesota Chorale present special Messiah sing-along concert.

The Minnesota Orchestra celebrates the holiday season with 14 concerts from December 12 to 23, showcasing the talents of more than 350 musicians in performances ranging from piano solos to an audience sing-along of Handel’s Messiah with the Orchestra and Minnesota Chorale.

Pop superstars Clay Aiken and Kathy Mattea perform with Orchestra; Severinsen frontman Tony Scodwell joins Orchestra for Holiday Pops! concerts; Boston Brass makes Orchestra Hall debut.

The Orchestra performs at 11 concerts, including three standard Messiah concerts with the Chorale; the Messiah sing-along; pops programs starring trumpeter Tony Scodwell, American Idol star Clay Aiken and country singer Kathy Mattea; and two family concerts featuring the Magic Circle Mime Company.
