Volkswagen iCar: Talks with Apple on hold?

Reviewing Volkswagen iCar. Back in August we have been one of the first to break the news that Volkswagen is talking with Apple about a Volkswagen iCar.

Unfortunately it looks like that these talks have now been put on hold. Reasons are unclear so far, but we guess it might be related to Apple's policy for non-exclusive talks if they are approached with these ideas. Seems like that Apple is also talking to other vendors, something Volkswagen clearly does not like.
