A bomb delivered to a Paris law office exploded today leaving one dead and another seriously injured.
A legal secretary who's name was not released, was killed after opening the package and a property law lawyer, Oliver Brane, has been hospitalized in critical condition.
Ten other office workers, reports the New York Times, have been treated for shock.
The package was delivered to the Paris office which specializes in real estate and insurance cases, by a messenger and contained two “devices,” reports the Times.
No motive for the deadly delivery has yet been determined
“The motives for this act are for now totally unknown,” Paris’s chief prosecutor, Jean-Claude Martin was quoted in the Times. “It seems, in any case, that it was somebody from this firm.”
